Hello! My name is Michael Emmer. I'm a filmmaker and photographer based out of Central New Jersey. I'm never far from my trusty Canon 6D, or a good book, either; I'm a voracious reader.
Most of my experience has been in live-action shooting. I've filmed events, performances, interviews, and b-roll footage. It's a joy to mix these elements in with animation and music to tell a complete story.
On this page you'll find several samples of my work, including both photographs and moving images. There's so much to see in the New York Metropolitan Area; I'm frequently out and about, shooting photos just for fun.
My other interests include piecing together jigsaw puzzles, running, volunteering at the local soup kitchen, and reading. William Gibson and James Ellroy are among my favorite authors, and I've read through The Lord of the Rings three times.
